Godsgrave, by Jay Kristoff

It’s so. good.
This book reads like the way you ride a roller coaster. A quick jerk forward, making sure you’re ready for what’s to come, and then all of a sudden you’re riding up the hill, waiting to crest the top and start speeding along. And oh my god, it’s a thrill. Each moment builds on one another, the tension palpable, and by the time you reach the ending, you’re out of breath and wanting more.
Oh, and that ending. I have never gasped at a book like I have with Godsgrave. Just…wow.
Godsgrave is beautifully written. It is one of my favorite books. Like Nevernight, it left me a book hangover to last for ages. I really can’t wait until Darkdawn. And I’m not sure I’m ready for it.
